ANITA FERNÁNDEZ has been appointed the inaugural chief diversity officer at Prescott College in Arizona. Most recently director of the college’s Master of Arts in Social Justice and Community Organizing, she is currently director and assistant dean at the Tucson campus. Fernández holds a master’s in teacher education and a Ph.D. in language, reading and culture from the University of Arizona.
