Jose Luis Alvarado JOSÉ LUIS ALVARADO has been named dean of Fordham University’s Graduate School of Education. Alvarado has served as provost and vice president for academic affairs at Cal State Los Angeles, the founding dean of the College of Education at California State University Monterey Bay and associate dean of the College of Education at San Diego State University. He holds a Ph.D. in special education from the University of Virginia.
