AAC&U Announces Participants in New Diversity Initiative

The Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) announced yesterday the selection of 12 institutions that will participate in a new “Committing to Equity and Inclusive Excellence: Campus-Based Strategies for Student Success” initiative funded by a $499,798 grant from USA Funds. The initiative aims to boost academic achievement, particularly among underprivileged and nontraditional students.

The 12 institutions selected are Anne Arundel Community College (Md.); California State University – Northridge; California State University – Sacramento; Clark Atlanta University (Ga.); Dominican University (Ill.); Florida International University; Governor’s State University (Ill.); Lansing Community College (Mich.); Morgan State University (Md.); North Carolina A&T State University; Pomona College (Calif.); and Wilbur Wright College (Ill.).
