BENJAMIN OLA. AKANDE

BENJAMIN OLA. AKANDE has been named president of Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. He will take office July 1. He currently serves as a professor of economics and dean of the George Herbert Walker School of Business and Technology at Webster University in St. Louis. He also leads Webster’s Office of Corporate Partnerships. Akande earned a bachelor’s from Wayland Baptist University and a doctorate from the University of Oklahoma.

LORNA LE’ANNE SHAW-BERBICK

LORNA LE’ANNE SHAW-BERBICK has been appointed dean of the university at Kentucky State University. She was dean of the School of Arts and Humanities at the College of Saint Rose. Shaw-Berbick earned two bachelor’s and a master’s from the University of the West Indies, and a doctorate from Howard University.

ROBBEE BAKER KOSAK has been appointed president of The Fannie and John Hertz Foundation. She was vice president of university advancement at Carnegie Mellon University. Kosak earned a bachelor’s from the Pennsylvania State University.

SYDNEY ROSE LEO has been appointed vice president for finance and administration and chief financial officer of Fisk University. She was chief financial officer of the Interaction Institute for Social Change. Leo earned a bachelor’s from Smith College, a master’s from the University of Hartford and a master’s from Bentley University.
