Diverse Senior Writer Jamal Watson is moderating a panel today entitled Crisis of Black Intelligentsia at the National Action Network national convention in New York. The convention continues through Saturday.

Diverse also is attending and covering the American Association of Blacks in Higher Education conference in Charleston, South Carolina, that continues through Saturday. The organization is celebrating its 35th anniversary.
