Thurgood Marshall College Fund and Apple announced an over $40 million, multi-year partnership to identify and develop talent from HBCUs.
According to a statement released by The Thurgood Marshall College Fund, Johnny C. Taylor Jr., TMCF president and CEO, said the partnership is designed to expose more African-American students to the possibilities of a career in technology.
The multi-year agreement will include internships, access to Apple’s campus and facilities, funding for a talent database, as well as funding for grants focused on obtaining and developing HBCU students for STEM careers.
