CHERYL-HOLCOMB-MCCOYCHERYL HOLCOMB-MCCOY has been named dean of the School of Education at American University, effective July 1. She is vice provost for faculty affairs and a professor of counseling and human development in the School of Education at Johns Hopkins University. Holcomb-McCoy earned a bachelor’s and a master’s from the University of Virginia, and a doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
