TAMARA RODENBERG has been named president of Bethany College in West Virginia, effective January 1. She is vice president for advancement for the Divinity School at Texas Christian University. Rodenberg earned a bachelor’s from Texas Christian University, a master’s from Lexington Theological Seminary and a doctorate from the Graduate Theological Union in California.

NA’ILAH NASIR
NA’ILAH NASIR has been appointed vice chancellor for equity and inclusion at the University of California, Berkeley, effective November 1. She is associate dean of diversity for social sciences, a full professor in the School of Education and the Department of African American Studies, and holds the Birgeneau Chair in Educational Disparities and the Williams Chair of African American Studies at UC Berkeley. Nasir earned a bachelor’s from UC Berkeley and a doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Tufts University, Goucher College Revoke Honorary Degrees Given to Cosby
Two more colleges announced Thursday they have rescinded honorary degrees given to Bill Cosby, adding to a growing list of schools distancing themselves from the entertainer embroiled in allegations of sexual assault.

K. RANGA RAMA KRISHNAN has been appointed senior vice president of the Medical Center and dean of the Medical College at Rush University in Chicago. He was dean of Duke-National University of Singapore Graduate Medical School in Singapore and a professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Duke University Medical Center. Krishnan earned an M.B.B.S. from Madras Medical College in India.
