CAROLYN MA has been appointed interim dean of the University of Hawaii at Hilo Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy. Ma is also pharmacy practice department chair and an associate professor. She was in charge of operations, faculty and residents for the college on Oahu, Maui and Kauai. Ma received a bachelor’s from the University of Santa Clara and a doctorate from the University of California, San Francisco.

MALING EBRAHIMPOUR has been appointed dean of the College of Business Administration at the University of Rhode Island. He was dean of the business school at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. Ebrahimpour earned a bachelor’s from the Institute of Advanced Accounting in Iran, an MBA from the University of Nebraska-Kearney and a doctorate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

NASHID MADYUN has been appointed director of the Southeastern Regional Black Archives and Research Center at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU). He was director of the Hampton University Museum. She also serves as senior associate dean for faculty in the College of Arts and Science and is the director of the Research on Individuals, Politics & Society Laboratory at Vanderbilt.
