Dr. Waded Cruzado

President, Montana State University

Cruzado has held her current role since January 2010 at the state’s first land-grant institution. Born in Puerto Rico, she earned a doctorate in the humanities at The University of Texas at Arlington in 1990. She returned to Puerto Rico, teaching and holding leadership roles at alma mater the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez. In 2007, New Mexico State University appointed Cruzado to the post of executive vice president and provost.
