Eda Davis-Lowe

Eda Davis LoweTitle: Assistant Vice President, Educational Partnerships, Valencia College

Davis-Lowe currently serves as assistant vice president for partnerships for educational equity at Valencia College. Davis-Lowe researches STEM diversity, higher education, educational policy and teaching methods. Her most recent publication is “Fostering STEM Diversity.” She previously served as the program director for the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP). In that role, she facilitated project implementation, evaluation and reporting for Lake-Sumter State College, Seminole State College and Valencia. Prior to Valencia, Davis-Lowe served for more than 11 years at Oregon State University as director of The Science and Math Investigative Learning Experiences (SMILE) program, during which she accepted a Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring (PAESMEM).
