Dr. Felicia McGinty was appointed executive vice chancellor of administration and planning at Rutgers University-New Brunswick in August 2018. She leads and directs day-to-day, non-academic operations including space management, infrastructure development, oversight for policy development and other critical functions that support the student experience and advance Rutgers University-New Brunswick’s academic, research and service mission. McGinty previously served as Rutgers’ vice chancellor for student affairs. She has held numerous administrative positions in student services during her career including associate vice president for student engagement at Pennsylvania State University and assistant vice president for student affairs at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. McGinty earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, master’s degree in education and doctoral degree in educational leadership from Northern Arizona University.
