A new Rasmussen poll finds that students are less politically engaged in 2012 than they were in the 2008 or 2004 elections. Even if one discounts the high involvement in 2008 as an opportunity to be a part of history, collegians are still not even as involved as they were during George W. Bush’s re-election campaign in 2004.
Thirty three percent of those surveyed use social media as a major or primary source of political information.
