MIAMI
Miami-Dade Community College (M-DCC) recently ranked among the top three community colleges nationwide for its innovative digital information technology services available to students, faculty, administrators and employees, according to a recent survey by the Center for Digital Government.
Only Florida Community College and Columbus State Community College ranked ahead of M-DCC, which is a Hispanic-serving institution. In addition to scoring high in the survey, M-DCC is continually recognized by various organizations, such as the prestigious Computerworld Smithsonian Program for its state-of-the-art network of computers and multimedia facilities.
A 14-question Digital Education Survey was conducted by the Center for Digital Government and its sister organization, The Center for Digital Education, to elevate the awareness and the progress community colleges are making in adopting and utilizing digital technologies.
“At Miami-Dade Community College we are extremely proud of the expansive services offered to the community through digital information technology,” says M-DCC president Dr. Eduardo J. Padrón.
