Monmouth College faculty have voted “no confidence” in Monmouth President Dr. Clarence Wyatt and calling for Wyatt’s resignation or removal, WQAD reported.
Monmouth has faced a year of financial strain due to declining enrollment and the COVID-19 pandemic.
The primary concerns are that “President Wyatt and his administration have been poor stewards of the College’s finances and have mismanaged student recruitment,” faculty noted in the motion that passed with 56 faculty voting in favor, 22 members voting against and 5 abstaining.
