Whitehurst holds a bachelor’s and a master’s from Binghamton University, State University of New York, and a master’s and a doctorate from Penn State.

LEAH BORNSTEIN has been named president of Aims Community College in Colorado, effective August 1. She was president of Coconino Community College in Arizona. Bornstein earned an associate and bachelor’s from Bradford College in Massachusetts, a master’s from the University of Vermont and a doctorate from the University of Denver.
