Boston University is mourning the loss of one of its public health professors after he died over the weekend in an accident, the school said.
BU announced David Jones’ death on Sunday and said the associate professor who joined the School of Public Health in 2014, died in an accident on Saturday.
“Above all David was a wonderful human being, living with integrity and a deep commitment to all we do,” Dean of the Public School of Health Sandro Galea said in a statement. “I have so loved all my interactions with David, I cannot really imagine what it means to not have David as part of our community.”
