A Priceless Collection
In order to ensure the Clayton Collection’s perpetuity for the scores of
Africana scholars in this country, this article (see “Safeguarding Black History, Jan. 25) must be cross-listed to as many university, library and research institution listserves as possible. This should be Dr. Clayton’s son’s primary mission. To lose a collection of this breadth would be a great tragedy.
