DR. TRACY FITZSIMMONS is president of Shenandoah University (Va.). Fitzsimmons previously served as senior vice president and vice president for academic affairs and professor of political science at the university. She earned a bachelor’s from Princeton University, as well as a master’s and doctorate from Stanford University.
IRENE CHÁVEZ has been named special assistant for human resource development at the University of Texas at El Paso. She most recently served as CEO of Providence Memorial Hospital. Chávez earned a bachelor’s from UTEP and a master’s from the University of Phoenix.
RANDY GROOMES is director of diversity relations and recruitment at the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. Groomes previously served as director of multicultural programs for UGA’s Alumni Association. He earned a bachelor’s from the University of Georgia.
LEON WILES is chief diversity officer at Clemson University (S.C.). Wiles previously served as vice chancellor for student and diversity affairs at the University of South Carolina Upstate in Spartanburg. Wiles earned a bachelor’s from Philander Smith College and a master’s from the University of Pittsburgh.
DAVID L. WOMACK has been named dean of student life at Centenary College of Louisiana. He formerly served as the dean of student development at Millikin University. Womack holds a bachelor’s from Lock Haven University and a master’s from Western Maryland College.
