CAROL T. CHRIST has been named interim executive vice chancellor and provost at the University of California, Berkeley. She is director of the Center for Studies in Higher Education (CSHE) at UC Berkeley. Christ earned a bachelor’s from Douglass College, and a master’s and a doctorate from Yale University.
