MARK MITSUI has been named president of Portland Community College. He is deputy assistant secretary for community colleges within the Office of Career, Technical and Adult Education at the U.S. Department of Education. Mitsui holds a bachelor’s from Western Washington University and a master’s from the University of Washington.
