DENEIA THOMAS has been named the chief of staff of West Virginia State University. She previously served as the associate provost and vice president for institutional effectiveness and professor of psychology at Kentucky State University. Thomas earned a doctorate, an education specialist degree in school psychology and a master’s degree from the University of Kentucky and a bachelor’s degree from Kentucky State University.
