TAMIKA S. EDWARDS has been named executive director of the social justice institute at Philander Smith College. Edwards served as director of governmental affairs at Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, a master’s from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) and a J.D. degree from the UALR William H. Bowen School of Law.
