JESUS RAMIREZ-VALLES was named director of the health equity institute at San Francisco State University. He recently worked as a co-principal investigator of the center for health equity research at the University of Illinois-Chicago and University of Chicago. Ramirez-Valles earned his bachelor’s from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Mexico and master’s and doctorate degrees from the University of Michigan.
