SHERRY TURNER has been named vice president of strategic initiatives at Rhodes College. Prior to her new role, she served as the director of institutional success and support for United Negro College Fund’s Institute for Capacity Building. Turner received a bachelor’s degree from Rhodes College, a master’s degree from North Carolina State University, was a Rhodes William Randolph Hearst Dissertation Fellow and a Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
