SAVALAS KIDD has been named executive director of public safety at the University of Dayton (UD). A 25-year decorated police veteran, Kidd has served as UD’s chief of police since 2017. He holds an associate degree in criminal justice technology from the University of Cincinnati, a bachelor’s in criminal justice management from Union Institute and University and a master’s in human services from the UD.
