Community College appoints new VP, diversity officer

PITTSBURGH
The Community College of Allegheny County has a new vice
president and chief diversity officer.

Ralph Proctor begins his new jobs immediately. He had served
as the chairman of the school’s Africana and Ethnic Studies department since
2001.

Proctor will work on implementing a comprehensive diversity
plan for students, faculty and employees.

He is the former assistant dean for the University
of Pittsburgh’s College
of Arts and Sciences.
