Colleges going paperless in attracting students

Riverland Community College’s “Programs of Study” publication looks like a notebook and makes paper-shuffling sounds when its pages are turned. The sights and sounds, however, all are through a computer via Riverland’s Web site and the ePaperFlip software for publications.

According to the Austin-Post Bulletin, it’s one of the ways Riverland, like many other colleges, has been moving away from paper to computers for distributing information and doing business.
