Dr. Michael J. Sorrell, President of Paul Quinn College, to Receive Ethics Award

Dr. Michael J. Sorrell, president of Paul Quinn College, will receive the 2022 J. Erik Jonsson Ethics Award from Southern Methodist University’s (SMU) Cary M. Paul Quinn College is a private, Methodist, Historically Black College and University (HBCU) located in Dallas, Texas.

Sorrell is the school's longest serving president and has been lauded nationally for his work to rebuild the institution and higher education to help under-served and under-resourced students over the past 15 years.

Sorrell will receive the award at SMU on Tuesday, April 12 at noon.
