Betsy DeVos, the U.S. Secretary of Education, announced recently that Nate Bailey, acting Assistant Secretary for Communications and Outreach, has been appointed to Chief of Staff.

“Nate is a well-respected and valued member of our team who is a natural fit to help lead the Department at this time,” DeVos said in the announcement. “I am pleased that he has agreed to take on this new position, and I look forward to our continued work together on behalf of our nation’s students.”
Bailey will succeed Josh Venable, who was in the position since the beginning of DeVos’s term as Secretary of Education.
