Dr. David Wilson, president of Morgan State University, has announced new goals aligned to its strategic plan over the next five years.

The new goals focus on university housing, graduation and retention rates, study abroad, enrollment, research, partnerships, new businesses and resources, according to Morgan State University News.
At the beginning of the 2018-19 school year, Wilson addressed priorities for this fiscal year through several initiatives such as renovating the Dixon Research Center, redeveloping the Northwood Shopping Center, successfully concluding the Sesquicentennial Anniversary Campaign and a long-term plan to address student housing requests.
“Although we have made many great strides here at Morgan, we have yet to attain all of the ambitious goals we set for ourselves seven years ago. This reassessment of our goals is not a redirection but a continuation down our current path of progress and a recognition of the things we need to anticipate during the next five years,” Wilson said.
