Joy Gaston GaylesJoy Gaston Gayles has been named head of the N.C. State College of Education’s Department of Educational Leadership, Policy, and Human Development. She has a bachelor’s degree in adapted physical ed and kinesiotherapy from Shaw University, a master’s in higher ed admin. from Auburn University, and a Ph.D. in ed administration from The Ohio State University.
