Lia Kampman has been appointed vice president for institutional advancement at Elmhurst University, effective Nov. 18.
She most recently served as interim vice president for college advancement at St. Norbert College, a Catholic liberal arts college in De Pere, Wis. In this role, she oversaw all areas of advancement and served on the President’s Cabinet.
Kampman joined St. Norbert College in 2020 as associate vice president for philanthropy, where she led the annual, major and planned fundraising teams. She led St. Norbert College’s Support What Matters campaign, which concluded on May 31 after raising more than $128 million and exceeding its $125 million goal. Kampman has a master’s degree in philanthropy and nonprofit development from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and a BA in psychology and community sociology from Wartburg College.
