CareerBuilder.com, a Web-based job recruitment service, and AfterCollege, a leading provider of targeted college recruitment and branding services, has announced a strategic partnership that is expected to create one of the largest targeted college recruiting networks in North America.

CareerBuilder.com will deliver over 400,000 job postings from 25,000 of the nation’s top employers to nearly one million discipline and diversity specific college students in the AfterCollege Network. Job listings will be available for undergraduate and graduate students through job boards at academic departments and student groups.

“This partnership significantly expands job resources for college graduates so they can gain the experience needed to build a solid career path. The partnership also provides employers wishing to reach specific subsets of entry-level talent with the benefit of targeted exposure on AfterCollege’s extensive network of academic departments and groups,” says Matt Ferguson, chief operating officer for CareerBuilder.com.

AfterCollege maintains exclusive partnerships with academic departments and student group organizations at top universities throughout the United States. These include top public and private colleges and universities, HBCUs and community colleges.

“This is a truly synergistic partnership that combines job information from CareerBuilder.com’s far-reaching network of newspaper partners and Web sites with AfterCollege’s unparalleled access to hard-to-reach college students,” says Roberto Angulo, CEO of AfterCollege.
