Dr. Doris Ching

Title: 2017 Acting Director of the University of Hawaii System Academy for Creative Media

Ching began working in education in Hawaii in the early 1960s, starting as a middle school teacher before moving to a faculty role within the University of Hawai‘i (UH) system. She has since served as a dean and in multiple senior positions in student and academic affairs. In 2016, she served as the interim chancellor of UH West O‘ahu.
