Dr. Toyia Younger serves as the Senior Vice President for Student Affairs at Iowa State University. Appointed in August of 2020, Younger is the first woman in this role at Iowa State and is a mentor and resource for students, faculty, and staff. As the leader of the student affairs division, Younger provides strategic leadership for nearly 30 departments including housing and dining, recreation and student health, Dean of Students, and programs and services supporting the success of all students. Younger is passionate about creating spaces for students to be their best self and leads through her authenticity and hands-on approach to ensure the best resources are available to serve the unique student needs of today while preparing for the students of tomorrow.
