The University of Nebraska Foundation – which supports the University of Nebraska system through private donations – announced that it reached over $290 million in contributions for this year’s budget.
According to the foundation, 57,215 donors gave $244.9 million in pledges, grants and gifts. Another $45.6 million was committed to the university system for the future.
The University of Nebraska Foundation facilitates donations to the University of Nebraska system’s three campuses in Lincoln, Omaha and Kearney.
