The University of Rochester’s School of Medicine and Dentistry has named Dr. Adrienne Morgan, associate vice president for its new Office of Equity and Inclusion.
Serving as assistant dean in the medical center since 2017, Morgan has devoted much her time to identifying and addressing challenges relating to diversity and inclusion. In addition, Morgan has served as senior director for the school’s Center for Advocacy, Community Health, Education and Diversity, where she has helped develop cross-culturally aware physicians for nearly 20 years.
Morgan holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a master’s degree in cross-disciplinary professional studies from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a doctorate in higher education from the Warner Graduate School of Education and Human Development.
