Pierre Morton Appointed Franklin Pierce University’s First Chief Diversity Officer

Pierre Morton will be Franklin Pierce University’s first Chief Diversity Officer (CDO). He will report directly to the president.

Morton came to Franklin Pierce in July 2019 as executive director of the Lloyd & Helen Ament Astmann ’69 Career Center.

During his time at Franklin Pierce, Morton created Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) employer programs, the Raven PAACT (Professional Alumni Advising and Career Tracks) platform and the Career Closet. Before Franklin Pierce, Morton was assistant director of employer relations at the University of New Haven.

Pierre holds an MBA. in Organizational Development from the University of New Haven and a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Albertus Magnus College.
