Earlham College is offering nine of its online courses to alumni and the general public this summer as part of its new Online@Earlham initiative.
Current students, Earlham alumni and the general public can now register through May 12 or until classes fill up.
Registrants must hold a high school diploma, must meet Earlham’s admissions requirements and can only take one course during the term.
The classes will be in an accelerated, seven-week format that starts May 26 and ends July 15 at a discounted tuition rate of 65%. Each class will be worth three credits toward a bachelor’s degree.
Class topics include personal finance, the history of medicine through epidemics, Chinese love stories, business communications, history of rock-and-roll, introduction to psychological perspectives, trauma-informed classroom and social emotional learning, motivations and emotion, financial accounting, and banking and monetary policy, according to Earlham officials.
