Dr. John Johnson has been appointed vice president for diversity and inclusion at Whitman College, effective this summer.
Dr. John JohnsonJohnson was director of inclusive excellence learning at California State University, Sacramento. Johnson was also the inaugural coordinator of the African American Center for Academic Excellence at Humboldt State University.
Johnson holds a master’s degree in educational psychology from Ball State and a Ph.D. in social psychology from University of California Santa Cruz.
