Endalyn Taylor Named Dean of University of North Carolina School of the Arts Dance School

Endalyn Taylor – dancer, choreographer and educator – has been named dean of University of North Carolina School of the Arts’s (UNCSA) School of Dance, effective Aug. 1.

Taylor previously served as director of Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH) School in New York; director of the Cambridge Summer Art Institute in Massachusetts and associate professor of dance at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Taylor has performed as an original cast member in the Tony Award-winning Broadway productions of “The Lion King,” “Aida” and “Carousel.”

Taylor holds a M.F.A. in dance from Hollins University.
