Trinity Washington University Hosts Luce Colloquium on Inclusive Excellence

Trinity Washington University studentsTrinity Washington University studentsOn April 20 and 21, Trinity Washington University will host the hybrid Luce Colloquium on Inclusive Excellence. Sponsored by the Henry Luce Foundation and organized by Trinity's science faculty, the event will focus on student success outcomes reached through Trinity's inclusive excellence initiatives.

Trinity Washington University is a Predominantly Black Institution (PBI) and Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) located in Washington, D.C. At the colloquium, the University's president, Patricia McGuire, will discuss the impact on Trinity of federal funding from the U.S. Department of Education's Predominantly Black Institutions program.

The event's keynote speaker will be Dr. Nina Tandon, cofounder of EpiBone, a biomedical engineering company. Panels with Trinity faculty and students will also be featured.
