Melvin BeaversMelvin Beavers has been named inaugural chancellor’s fellow for diversity, equity, and inclusion at the University of Arkansas Little Rock, where he is an assistant professor in the Department of Rhetoric and Writing. He is also the director of first-year writing at the university. Beavers holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Central Arkansas as well as a master’s degree in interdisciplinary studies and a doctorate in higher education administration from the University of Arkansas Little Rock.
