Suresh Gunasekaran has been appointed president and chief executive officer at University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Health. He is currently CEO of University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics and senior associate vice president for University of Iowa Health Care. He previously served as chief information officer and then as chief operations officer for the University of Texas Southwestern Health System. He holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
