Richard Chu has been named to the state of Massachusetts’ Asian-American Pacific Islanders Commission. Chu is a history professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Ateneo de Manila University, a master’s degree from Stanford University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California.
