Juliet Langman has been appointed dean of the graduate college at Kennesaw State University in Georgia, effective July 1. She has been serving as a professor of applied linguistics and senior associate dean and associate dean of graduate studies in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Langman earned a bachelor’s degree in French from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She holds a master’s degree in linguistics and a doctorate in language, literacy, and culture from Stanford University.
