Darrell P. WheelerDarrell P. WheelerDARRELL P. WHEELER has been appointed president of SUNY New Paltz by the SUNY Board of Trustees. Wheeler serves as Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at Iona College. He received his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Cornell College, his master’s in health and mental health from Howard University, and his doctorate in social work and MPH in health administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
