Monique LeNoir was promoted to Senior Vice President of Strategic Communications at the United Negro College Fund (UNCF).
She is the first to be appointed to this newly created position. LeNoir previously served as UNCF’s vice president, Branding, Marketing and Communications for the past year. Prior to that appointment, she served as national director, communications, for nine years, where she oversaw the day-to-day activities of the department. Prior to joining UNCF, LeNoir, a seasoned strategic planning, marketing and communications professional with more than 30 years of experience, was the director of resource development for the Black Alliance for Educational Options (BAEO) and director of communications for the Washington Teacher’s Union. A native of Oakland, CA, LeNoir holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Howard University and a master’s degree in public communications from American University.
