Robert Q. Berry III has been named the next dean of the Indiana University Bloomington School of Education, effective April 1.Dr. Robert Q. Berry III
Berry comes to IU from the University of Arizona and serves as the dean and chair of the College of Education. Berry has authored and co-edited eight books, written more than 100 refereed publications and book chapters, and delivered over 300 academic presentations worldwide. His work has significantly influenced the field of education, particularly in areas related to diversity, equity, and instructional leadership.
A first-generation college graduate, Berry earned his Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, following undergraduate degrees from Christopher Newport University and Old Dominion University.
